Designed to facilitate data gathering, it simplifies the process of contributing valuable information for urban planning and transportation management.

Utilizing crowdsourcing methodology akin to platforms like Wikipedia, CounterPoint enables users to participate in data collection that enhances community infrastructure planning. This approach ensures a broad and reliable dataset derived from diverse contributors.

The process is straightforward: identify a strategic location—such as a downtown café, bus stop, or street slated for bicycle lane improvements—and set up the CounterPoint app to begin counting. Observers can monitor traffic across the street while recording data seamlessly through the interface.
